This transaction is one of several additions to the buyer’s environmental health and safety lineup announced this year. Earlier deals and product additions in the same period broadened policy management and food-safety capabilities, and another safety-focused firm was acquired in the week prior to this deal. The buyer describes the move as part of a push to provide more integrated tools for monitoring, analysis and compliance.
Leaders of both companies framed the deal as a step to place monitoring and analytic tools in the hands of frontline teams and safety managers.
