Finalist teams work with Trimble experts at the Westminster kickoff to test and refine integrations ahead of Demo Day.
Westminster, Colorado, August 16, 2025
The Trimble 0–60 Challenge selected 16 finalists from startups and developer teams building integrations for architecture, engineering, construction and asset lifecycle workflows. Finalists attended a two-day kickoff at Trimble’s Westminster headquarters to test integrations with hands-on support from Trimble experts, then will spend 12 weeks refining solutions for deeper platform integration. The program culminates with Demo Day at the Trimble Dimensions user conference in Las Vegas, where teams will present finished integrations. Top prizes include cash awards and all participants can publish integrations on the Trimble Marketplace. Separately, Trimble issued a security patch for an asset management product.
Trimble has selected 16 companies as finalists for the annual Trimble 0–60 Challenge, an accelerator program aimed at finding and supporting startups, entrepreneurs and developers working in architecture, engineering, construction and asset lifecycle management. The program focuses on innovations that integrate with and extend Trimble’s open technology ecosystem and that solve critical customer pain points by improving workflows through software integrations.
The finalists took part in a two-day kickoff event at Trimble’s headquarters in Westminster, Colorado, where they received hands-on support from Trimble experts to test and advance their integrations. Over the next 12 weeks, each team will continue refining its solutions to better integrate with Trimble platforms and unlock new workflow opportunities. The program will conclude with a Demo Day during the Trimble Dimensions user conference in Las Vegas on November 10–12, 2025, where finalists will present their finished integrations.
First, second and third place winners will receive cash prizes. All participants will be able to publish and offer their integrations on the Trimble Marketplace, a central entry point to the Trimble developer ecosystem where users can discover verified integrations that extend Trimble solutions.
The challenge is organized in collaboration with Trimble Ventures, a corporate venture fund that provides capital and industry expertise to early-stage teams building transformative technologies. Trimble Ventures aims to help companies refine technology and go-to-market strategies and accelerate innovation across construction, transportation, geospatial and related industries. Program leadership noted that smaller firms and startups often lack market reach and established connections, and the challenge is structured to bridge that gap by providing tools, expertise and partner access to scale solutions faster.
Separately, Trimble addressed a cybersecurity issue affecting its asset management software used by local governments, utilities, airports and other facilities. After investigating reports of third-party exploitation, the company issued a patch for affected versions of that product. Trimble warned customers that some on-premises deployments may have overprivileged Internet Information Services (IIS) identity permissions and advised that IIS should not be run with local or domain-level administrative privileges on any site. The vulnerability has been added to a government known-exploited-vulnerabilities catalog. Security researchers reported that a range of tools, including known post-exploitation and reconnaissance toolsets, were observed in related activity.
Trimble relocated its corporate headquarters to Westminster, Colorado in 2022 and maintains Westminster as its largest U.S. employment center. The Westminster campus, which includes more than 240,000 square feet across two buildings on a 15-acre site, was built using the company’s advanced construction technologies and features LEED Gold and Silver certifications and on-site renewable energy installations. The campus hosts an outdoor technology development and testing center and is a central hub for several of Trimble’s core market segments.
The company has continued active M&A and platform-integration work in recent years, and leaders say the company remains focused on expanding digital workflows and eliminating manual processes across construction and related industries. The 0–60 Challenge finalists may benefit from this broader focus and from possibilities to integrate with existing platforms and partner offerings.
