Architectural rendering of the Blue Marine residential building, designed for luxury and sustainability.
Pro Kapital Grupp has announced the start of construction for the Blue Marine residential building in the prestigious Klīversala Quarter of Riga. This sustainable development will feature 96 luxury apartments, with a focus on modern living and energy efficiency. The building, designed by a reputable architectural team, aims to enhance the urban landscape while providing residents with serene river views and convenient amenities. The project is supported by newly established subsidiaries dedicated to its management and development, ensuring a commitment to quality throughout the construction process.
Pro Kapital Grupp has officially announced the beginning of construction works for the Blue Marine residential building in the prestigious Klīversala Quarter of Riga. This development aims to enhance the living experience in one of the city’s most sought-after areas.
Located on a nearly five-hectare plot along the banks of the Daugava River and Āgenskalns Bay, the Klīversala Quarter is part of a UNESCO heritage protection area. This exceptional setting provides a stunning environment for future residents of Blue Marine, who can enjoy serene river views and the peacefulness of nature while being close to the urban amenities of Riga.
The Blue Marine is designed as a seven-storey residential building that will offer a total of 96 apartments. These apartments will range from 1 to 5-room layouts, catering to a variety of living preferences and family sizes. The architectural design of the building embodies a quietly luxurious lifestyle through contemporary aesthetics that focus on sustainability and modern living.
With an emphasis on creating a refined and sustainable living experience, the Blue Marine project integrates energy-efficient solutions and timeless design elements. Residents will benefit from modern amenities, including an underground parking facility, thereby addressing the practical needs of urban living.
The architectural vision for Blue Marine was brought forth by Aivars Kagainis from the Project Office Grietēns and Kagainis, who is known for his expertise in creating modern and functional spaces. Additionally, the interior design of the apartments is in the capable hands of Jana Korolova and Andrey Korolyov, promising an elegant and comfortable living environment.
In June 2025, Pro Kapital Grupp established two subsidiaries to efficiently manage the project. The first, SIA Pro Kapital Latvia Engineering, has a share capital of EUR 5,000 and will be responsible for construction project management across Latvia. The second subsidiary, SIA BM Klīversala, was specifically created for the Blue Marine project, with a substantial share capital of EUR 2,600,000. This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to the project while ensuring a focused approach to its development.
The management board for both subsidiaries comprises experienced professionals, including the CEO of Pro Kapital Grupp and a board member of Pro Kapital Latvia, both of whom will oversee the company’s operations in relation to the Blue Marine project. While the establishment of these subsidiaries marks a significant step forward, it will not notably impact the broader economic activities of Pro Kapital Grupp.
As construction progresses, further updates concerning the Blue Marine project will be communicated to investors through the Stock Exchange system. This transparency aims to keep stakeholders informed and engaged as the project develops, showcasing an ongoing commitment to excellence and effective communication.
The initiation of the Blue Marine residential building not only signifies growth in the real estate sector of Riga but also reflects Pro Kapital Grupp’s dedication to enriching the urban landscape with modern, sustainable residential living solutions.
